Lectures and open forums

Stockholm is a diverse and multicultural city with the centres for politics, media and culture all concentrated on a fairly small area. This means there is always something going on: seminars on special subjects, public forums, and debates.

The students' associations often arrange lectures, as well. The lectures are often in Swedish but the evenings are occasionally attended by foreign researchers or politicians. If you wish to meet your friends under somewhat more relaxed forms, have a beer or a glass of wine at student-friendly prices, and sit and talk, these smaller events are perfect.
