Art

The Stockholm art scene offers a wide spectrum of various kinds of art. Did you know that the Stockholm metro is called the longest art exhibition in the world - 110 km long?! Some 140 artists have helped to create the art along the metro lines. An additional few hundred artists have added temporary art features at the stations.

Several of Stockholm's museums offer reduced entrance fees for students, and in the city you will also find a wide range of art galleries sowing the latest from the Swedish art scene. Several of the most renowned art schools are situated in Stockholm, and their students regularly exhibit their art. Each spring, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design organises a large exhibition, showing pieces by their final year students. Moreover, students at both the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design and Beckmans College of Design organise Christmas fairs for the general public.
